Does your air fryer need a deep clean?

1. The situation where the air fryer must be thoroughly cleaned
Obvious accumulation of oil stains: After long-term use, stubborn oil stains may accumulate around the frying basket, pan, or heating tube, affecting heating efficiency and producing odors.
Food residue residue: Small debris or sauce seeping into the gaps may breed bacteria or mold, affecting hygiene.
After frequent use: If used multiple times a week, it is recommended to perform a deep cleaning every 1-2 months to prevent stains from hardening.

2. Core steps of deep cleaning
Removable parts soaking and cleaning: Frying baskets, frying pans, etc. can be soaked in hot water and neutral detergent for 10-15 minutes to soften oil stains and then brushed.
Heating tube and inner cavity dry wiping: Use a soft cloth or cotton swab to gently wipe the surface of the heating tube, and stubborn stains can be wiped with a small amount of white vinegar (thoroughly wiped dry).
Ventilation vent cleaning: Use a dry soft bristled brush to clean the air inlet/outlet to avoid dust blocking and affecting heat dissipation.

3. Strictly prohibit operation
Immersion or flushing of the whole machine: The circuit part may be damaged or at risk of electric shock if it comes into contact with water.
Steel wire balls or strong acid/alkali cleaners: can scratch non stick coatings or corrode metal parts.
Cleaning under high temperature conditions: The power must be turned off and cooled to room temperature to avoid burns or component deformation.

4. Daily maintenance suggestions
Wipe promptly after each use: reduce oil accumulation and extend deep cleaning cycle.
Regularly check the sealing ring/filter: If there is oil residue, it needs to be removed, cleaned separately, and dried.
