Do I need to make sure the air fryer is completely dry before using it?

According to the product safety usage regulations, the air fryer must be completely dried before use. Specific instructions are as follows:

1. Core safety requirement: It is absolutely prohibited to start in damp conditions
Risk of circuit short circuit: There are electronic components and exposed circuits inside the body, and residual moisture may cause a short circuit when electrified, which can result in equipment burnout or electric shock or fire.
Power interface protection: The plug, socket, and power cord connections must be dry, as damp environments can easily cause electrical leakage accidents.

2. The drying of accessories directly affects the safety of use
The frying basket/pan must be wiped dry: Undrained water droplets that come into contact with high-temperature oil stains can instantly vaporize and splash, which may burn the skin or damage the coating.
Water vapor is strictly prohibited near the heating tube: if water droplets splash onto the heating tube, thermal shock may cause the metal tube to crack or even burst.

3. Consequences of improper operation
Abnormal performance: Water evaporation causes a sudden increase in humidity inside the chamber, making it difficult for food to become crispy, and may trigger the device's overheating protection and automatically shut down.
Equipment damage: Long term use in a damp state accelerates rusting of metal parts, and electronic components become ineffective due to moisture oxidation.

4. Correct drying operation steps
Post cleaning treatment: Removable accessories (frying baskets, frying pans) should be thoroughly wiped with a dry cloth after washing with water, and placed in a ventilated area to air dry for at least 1 hour.
After cleaning the body: Only use a damp cloth that has been wrung dry until there is no dripping water to wipe the shell, and then immediately use a dry cloth to absorb any water marks.
Emergency situation: If water accidentally enters, it must be ventilated and dried for at least 24 hours before being powered on for testing.

Key Warning:
Visual drying ≠ complete drying: There may be residual moisture in the gaps, and it is necessary to ensure thorough drying with ventilation.
Do not use a hair dryer/oven to accelerate drying: High temperatures and strong winds can damage circuits or cause plastic deformation.
