Does the heating tube of the air fryer need to be cleaned?

According to product safety regulations, the cleaning of the heating tube of the air fryer must strictly follow the following operating guidelines, which are explained in detail as follows:

1. Reasons why cleaning is necessary
Accumulation of oil stains affects heating efficiency: After long-term use, oil stains and food residues may adhere to the surface of the heating tube, which may lead to uneven heating, increased power consumption, or odor.
There are safety hazards: Carbon deposits or oil stains may smoke or even cause a burnt smell at high temperatures, and in extreme cases, may trigger a short circuit risk.

2. Prohibit direct contact with water sources or chemical cleaning agents
The heating tube is directly connected to the circuit, and any liquid (including wet cloth dripping) that seeps in may damage internal components or cause electrical leakage.
Do not spray cleaning agents: Chemical solvents can corrode metal pipes, and volatilization at high temperatures may also release harmful gases.

3. The only safe cleaning method: dry wipe or gentle brush off
Operating premise:
Be sure to unplug the power and wait for at least 30 minutes to ensure that the heating tube is completely cooled.
Operation steps:
Gently wipe the surface dust with a dry soft cloth or silicone brush.
Stubborn oil stains can be wiped dry with a cotton swab dipped in a small amount of water and twisted until completely dry. After wiping the dirt, immediately use a dry cloth to absorb it.
It is strictly prohibited to use steel wire balls, hard brushes, or sharp tools to scrape and avoid damaging the coating or metal layer of the heating tube.

4. Preventive maintenance recommendations
After each use, dry the frying basket to prevent food juices from splashing onto the heating tube at high temperatures.
Regularly check the ventilation openings to ensure proper heat dissipation and reduce oil accumulation around the heating tubes.
Deep oil stain treatment: If the oil stains on the heating tube are severe, it is recommended to contact the official after-sales service for handling. Do not disassemble the machine by yourself.

Key precautions for operation:
Power off cooling is a prerequisite for operation, and it is strictly prohibited to touch the heating tube when it is live or at high temperatures.
Better to leave stains than to let water in ": sacrificing some cleanliness to ensure circuit safety.

Aspect Key Guidelines
Cleaning Necessity • Oil/grease buildup reduces heating efficiency and causes uneven cooking. • Accumulated residue may smoke, produce odors, or pose fire risks.
Strict Prohibitions  NEVER use water or liquids – risk of electrical short circuits.  NEVER spray cleaners – chemicals may corrode metal or release toxic fumes.
Safe Cleaning Method Requirement: Unplug and wait ≥30 mins until fully cooled. Steps: 1. Wipe surface dust with a dry microfiber cloth. 2. For stubborn stains, gently brush with a dry soft-bristle brush (e.g., silicone brush). 3. If needed, lightly dab stains with a barely damp cloth, then immediately dry. Prohibited Tools: Steel wool, scrapers, or abrasive materials.
Preventive Maintenance • Wipe the basket/fryer interior after every use to reduce splatter. • Check vents monthly for blockages. • For heavy carbonization: Contact manufacturer support – do not disassemble.
Critical Notes  Always unplug and cool before cleaning.  Safety over cleanliness: Do not compromise electrical safety to remove stains.
