Can the air fryer be immersed in water?

According to relevant safety guidelines, the cleaning of air fryers must strictly follow the following principles, which are explained in detail as follows:

The main body is prohibited from soaking
The electronic components of the air fryer, such as heating elements, control panels, motors, etc., do not have waterproof design. If the entire body is immersed in water, it can cause circuit short circuits, component damage, and even the risk of electric shock. When cleaning, only wipe the outer shell with a damp cloth after turning off the power to prevent liquid from seeping into the interior.

Detachable components can be washed with water
Removable accessories such as frying baskets, frying pans, and oil reducers are typically made of heat-resistant materials (such as non stick coated metals), allowing for hand washing with hot water and detergent or dishwasher cleaning. However, it should be noted that:
After cleaning, it must be thoroughly dried to avoid residual moisture affecting the safety of the next use.
Avoid using hard cleaning tools such as steel wire balls to avoid scratching the coating.

Cleaning the interior is limited to wiping
The inside of the heating chamber needs to be operated after cooling: use a damp cloth or soft brush to remove food residues, and it is strictly prohibited to directly flush or soak. If the oil stains are heavy, you can first soak the accessories in hot water to soften the stains, and then gently scrub them.

Key Reminder:
The power cord, plug, and air inlet/outlet must be kept dry and must not come into contact with water sources under any circumstances.
Before cleaning, be sure to unplug the power and wait for at least 30 minutes to ensure that the body is completely cooled.
